The Tech and Industrial Dimensions of the EU Green Deal

June 22, 2021

As the European Commission has made clear, the EU’s industrial transition will also need to be a green one. From 5G to smart cities and intelligent transport, new technologies will play a key role in the EU’s ability to achieve its objective of becoming the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050 and thus to contribute to the Paris agreement’s goals. This new edition of the Forum Europe and Qualcomm Tech Policy Talks series will look at the interplay between innovation, green growth, and competition policies and how they can be advanced to support the industrial and green transitions of Europe’s economies and society.
